Our Approach

The Monverat Method

A four-phase, documented process that we apply to every engagement, from a single review to a multi-year advisory relationship.

The four phases

How every engagement runs

01

Position Audit

Every existing account, policy, entity and liability is mapped against its actual purpose, fee load and tax treatment before a single recommendation is made.

02

Scenario Modelling

We run at least two alternative paths for every major decision, with the assumptions behind each stated explicitly and stress-tested against a downturn.

03

Written Recommendation

Findings are delivered as a formal document, not a verbal summary — including the alternatives we considered and rejected, and why.

04

Implementation & Review

We coordinate directly with third parties to execute the plan, then set a fixed review cadence to keep it current as circumstances change.

Why this matters

Three things we won't compromise on

Fee-only, by design

We don't earn commission on products, which means the plan you receive isn't shaped by what pays us best — it's shaped by what fits your position.

Documentation over conversation

Verbal advice is easy to misremember and impossible to audit. Every Monverat recommendation exists as a written record you can return to, share with your accountant, or hold us to.

Independent of any single institution

We're not tied to one fund house, insurer or bank, so recommendations are made across the full market rather than a preferred shelf.

Every phase, in the room with you

The Monverat Method isn't a framework we describe after the fact — it's the actual sequence of meetings, documents and decisions you move through, start to finish.

  • Named phases, named deliverables
  • Assumptions stated, not implied
  • A fixed review cadence, not an open-ended relationship

"We built Monverat around one idea: a client should never have to take our word for it. Every number, every assumption, every trade-off — written down, so it can be checked."
